Patterson ParkPatterson Park Average User Rating: (0 votes, add your vote or comments) One of Baltimore's oldest parks, Patterson Park has a history that stretches back to 1669. With its historic significance and fine view of the harbor, the area became a popular place for citizens to promenade and picnic by the early 19th century and by the middle of the century, the park was formally introduced. The rich history of Patterson makes it unlike other parks whose modern conveniences include facilities for exercise and community gatherings. Patterson Park is a living museum to Baltimore’s heritage and future and is by far the Best Backyard in Baltimore. Facilities at Patterson include the Utz Twardowicz Stadium, Pavilions, 2 playgrounds, and the Dominic "Mimi" DiPietro Family Ice Skating Rink.
